Milani 3D Holographic Polish: HD on the nail

So I wanted to get a good picture of this nail polish to show. This is three coats of the polish. I was going to do some nail art on top of HD, but it was so pretty that I just left it alone!

I am very excited! I just got these two Milani 3D holographic nail polishes. The silver is called "HD" and the pink is called "Digital". I picked these colors because I thought I would use them the most, but they also have shades of purple, gold, and green. All look beautiful. I have been testing out the polish on my feet. It really does have that holographic sticker look to it. it doesn't look so in the bottle, but once you put it on and see it in normal light it looks great! Practicing on my toes, I found that two coats are best, but every polish I use, in my opinion, needs two coats unless it specifically advertises that its one coat and you're done (Like Sally Hansen Insta-Dri). Still, I have never been really happy with Sally Hansen. It can be a bit pricey sometimes and it gets all chunky and gross fairly fast. I like my polishes to last a while! So, thus far i am very excited about the Milani brand.

Milani Nail Polish

I am so totally loving Milani Nail Art Polishes. First of all, they are almost half the price of Sally Hansen nail art pens. I bought three, Art of Gold, Green, and Black. I really wanted white, but both drug stores I went to didn't have it. So, I just bought the regular white nail polish and used a nail art brush. I used the white in my previous entry. I used the black for this latest entry along with Eyeko Vintage polish. Enjoy!

Flowers 4/30/10

I finally found a way to simply do flowers on my nails. It even looks pretty good on my dominant hand! I used a flat brush

The nail polished I used are:

Sally Hansen Double Duty : Top and base coat

Eyeko Nude Nail Polish

Milani Nail Polish in White

Milani Nail Art in Art of Gold

I simply used the flat brush to make the petals by dipping the tip in white nail polish and placing the tip on the nail to make a petal.

I put a little of the gold glitter in the middle of the flower and one the petals to add some dimension. Enjoy

Nail look 4/26/2010

This look was made with Eyeko's lilac polish and purple polish. I guess it kind of has a ying yang look. The purple polish is a matte, but I just put a top coat on it to make it shine.
